Generally every morning after bath I stand before pooja mandir and pray. While praying I follow certain rituals. I am sure we all follows one ritual or other, which we might have learnt from our parents. Then a thought came. Why we follow these rituals. Is there any significance of these rituals. Is there any principle behind these. I can get answersfrom two sources. One from the guru (which I dont have) and the other is google. So took help of our good ol' friend - Google. The result(s) I got is listed here as I understood. I am not sure, if those are correct. And also what is given here is not mine, just took from the search results and logged here as I understood.

Good topic to start Vishwa. But where is the search results? Or are you going to take one at a time and post as separate post per day? that would be a good idea. One ritual per day as one Post..Good going..

Each ritual has its own significance. I have a book on that. State a ritual I will answer its significance if I can find out in the book.
